GATURRO: Here’s the best I can do today. 1) But, Gaturro, how can you bring an ice cream parlor to the living room of our house?! 2) Who can think of such a thing? 3) Well…the TASTES are a part of life.
PHANTOM: An unusual panel.
MARY WORTH: I still predict that Wilbur will come home from his travels looking like rugged and more like a “hunk” than when he left.
REX MORGAN: Rex is concerned. I predict that Sarah will eventually recover her memory and full cognition, and that her artwork is how this will be visually demonstrated to us.
MARK TRAIL: What a guy! I think this is what Abbey had in mind, but with Cherry out of the picture.
Gaturro – Why is living spelled the same and get translated living room? Translating the other way, shouldn’t it be viviendo?Word for word translation doesn’t work very well because of the differences in sentence structure.
Rex Morgan – Sarah has regressed in her art work as well. Florchi’s prediction is a good one.
Judge Parker – Why should Sophie be concerned that Sam was trying to solve the case and find her.
NEW GOCOMICS: As per the notice near the top of this page, the "New GoComics Experience will begin on Monday 1/9. I am suggesting that it may be a good idea to look at the beta site today 1/7 or tomorrow 1/8 to see if you can find the Spanish comics and Gaturro…and if you can find where you click to sign in and comment. I found the link to En Espanol under “Comics” menu at the top right of the beta home page (and there’s also a link to Espanol way down at the very bottom of the beta home page). On the beta site, after I clicked on and then scrolled down and clicked on Gaturro, there were seven icons“buttons” right below the daily Gaturro comic and the 4th button from the left (a speech balloon) is the link to “View the Comments” (you get the login link only after you click this button). BTW, I did find a what seemed to be a glitch: When I made a test comment on the beta site, my GoComics Display Name (florchi) did not display properly. However, if you click on the inappropriate display name, you will jump over to your profile where you can click the EDIT button and fix it.
Has anyone else commenting here tried out the beta site? Folks who have the comments link(s) emailed to them may not need to go through all of the above steps. I have always just gone into GoComics by using the URL (gocomics.com), or via a Bookmark a/k/a a Favorite Place.

Imagine the skill it requires to translate a book, especially poetry, into something that is actually readable, understandable, and beautiful!
