GATURRO: Hmmm. A little trouble translating this one. It’s something like, “Let’s see if Gaturro likes the new big armchair?” and the G. does his thing and says, “Cool! Comes from hairs!”

MARY WORTH: Iris didn’t see that coming (and neither did I)! Will she back up and take a new look at Zak as just an immature “kid”… a “kid” her son’s age…?

MARK TRAIL: Ol’ Rex catches his dinner. The MT nature panels are a nice interlude for us.

PHANTOM: I await the comments of others, as I can’t think of anything new to say.

Gaturro – Google Translate couldn’t handle it either.

Mark Trail – Now, is that cool or what?

Mary Worth – I think he’s jumping the gun here a bit. A tattoo implies that he expects the relationship will be permanent.

Rex Morgan – Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Gaturro Perhaps “long chair” is how they say sofa? The translation I got for the last panel was “comes to my hair” which makes me think he’s pleased because it attracts his hair. There’s certainly enough cat hair all over the underside after two passes.

Rex Morgan The blonde in the background seems to be a bit abashed. The one in the foreground needs a slap across the face.

Mark Trail I too am enjoying the nature panels.

Phantom Some people cannot be convinced. And as the old saying goes, “He who is convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.”

Mary Worth – Another example of generation gap.

Mark Trail – It almost looks as though the fish jumped in his mouth (2nd panel).
