OK, since I know JPuzzleWhiz will start counting….

no, those are NOT official Daddy’s Home questions… just a couple of aimless surmises….

But Tony did ask the official Daddy’s Home Question® for today…..

He’d like to know:

“Get anything good?”

As for me… since I wasn’t expecting any presents…

I’d have to say yup…..

The $40 gift certificate I got was way more than I expected.

I still have a couple of little Christmases to do with other people…

can’t see everybody the same day.

We don’t exchange expensive gifts….

but I do still have some small ones to look forward to.

It’s all good.

Pretty what? Pretty annoying, pretty awesome, pretty ugly, pretty demanding? The list goes on, if only he were allowed to finish his sentence.

I’d say pretty darned predictable.

I got a counting loose change Bank!!! So I know just how much change I have in my bank!!! It has a way to subtract too!!! I love gadgets!!!

Got some cute “Thank you” posters from the neighbors grand kids.

Got a jacket and some badly needed bath towels (mine were wearing out). And now, to ask today’s “official” (LOL)…

Second “Daddy’s Home” Question:

Do you say it that often?

Our eldest daughter gave “us” a fifty inch flat screen TV. I say “us” because I never watch TV, but her dad does. He told me he feels guilty because it seems he got a gift and I didn’t, but I enjoy seeing him so happy.

@tigressy I didn’t think I was getting a gift this year but I got a nice surprise. A beautiful sweater and nightshirt from my mom and dad and a beautiful top and sweater from my children’s dad that I didn’t expect.

I also got a gift card to my favorite local restaurant that I have to share with my children’s dad.

A cape to go with the top hat I got last year. Add the nose, ears, and tail that partly turned me into Brer Fox for a Disney World Halloween party, and I’ll be J. Worthington Foulfellow for the next one (my wife, meanwhile, is shopping a Pinocchio costume or herself).
