Remember the times, the wages, and what it cost to live back then. .85 and 4.85 are probably pretty close to the same thing.
yeah…but it still seems so cheap lol
Before it went up to 85 cents (over a matter of a couple of weeks if I remember) it had been 20 to 30 cents a gallon for regular gas and about 18 cents or so for diesel. It was a huge jump and the first time there were major lines at gas stations.
