A “Three Dog Night” is when you have a dog sleeping on each side of you and another one laying over your feet.

Can’t be THAT cold…. only one dog.

Why doesn’t Henry just turn up the thermostat on the furnace?

I would think it’s also “close the darn door” range..

The temperature’s in the “set course for the south seas” range.

Ho up range, is when you hop up on the range to warm up. Electric is much better than gas, trust me.

In my house every night is “hop up”.

Our cat doesn’t know how an electric blanket works, but she sure likes ours.

My Collie would crawl under the covers and then keep gently pushing with his feet while I was sleeping so I’d move over and leave him a warm spot until, somewhere in the middle of the night, I’d fall out of bed on the opposite side.

Just a “one-dog night”. . . Can’t be all THAT cold. But, then, they only HAVE one dog. Who’s keeping the rest of the crew warm tonight?

Always nice to have some trusty warmth during these chilly months. Looks like Louie’s in good shape, too.

Reminds me of a couple of winters when we had “2 & a bit dog nights” (2 dogs and a cat)!
