I’d be interested in knowing which of his ex-gfs called. Most of them weren’t interested enough in Norm to make that kind of phone call. The only aggressive one was the co-worker that he didn’t want to date (who probably no longer works at the publishing company that Norm works at).
I started working for MCI just before Worldcom swooped in and destroyed the company. They were also in talks with British Telecom, which I thought made a lot more sense from an international business point of view, Worldcom was a bit of surprise to a lot of us. Needless to say, I left them a couple of years after the buy out, but before the bankruptcy. Haven’t heard much about them for a long time now. According to wikipedia they still exist as a subsidiary of verizon (so not much of an improvement).

Wow, MCI, I haven’t heard that name in a long time. I totally forgot about all the call they used to make.
