Women of the Tiwi tribe in the South Pacific are married at birth. There have only been three Major League Baseball players with the first name Aurelio- all died in car accidents. The word abracadabra was not originally intended for magic- the word was meant to help ward off disease and specifically cure hay fever.

Oh, how unfortunate for the Aurelios (which three were they and of which teams?). So if a Tiwi girl dies as a stillborn, is her groom already a widower?

My mother was married at my birth . . . but not to my father:)

Aurelio “Señor Smoke” López of the 1984 Detroit Tigers was one of them. Great Pitcher and I was fortunate to see him pitch.

Next time I hear my dad sneeze when I call him, I’ll say “Abracadabra” to cure his hay fever.

Abracadabra in the Hebrew language means it came to pass as it was spoken.

Married to who? Does that mean the boys also have their wife selected?

The Tiwi Tribe give a literal meaning to the phrase “rob the cradle.”
