When Go Comics changed to their new site, for some reason I lost my paid up “pro” status, my avatar, and my own comics pages (although I continue to receive a daily e-mail of one page). I have sent several requests for an explanation but so far have no reply. In the meantime, I couldn’t find my old avatar photo which showed an earlier angrier me, so I settled for a more recent, handsomer and more intellectual likeness of the new me. I intend to post this message on several of the comics on which I occasionally offer my insights.
I had the same problem and a protest a day finally let me back on a week after. I still require at least three tries for a successful sign-in. The larger pictures are great, but the lack of dots wastes a lot of short times opening toons I have already seen, my replies are sometimes placed under a different comment, and I am frequently sent to a toon other than the one I requested, or wanting the next letter, sends me back one or two buttons. On the whole, I rather have the old system back and I can enlarge Francis by hand their twice a week appearances.
