Ralph’s concept of retirement needs some work.

I’m dying to know what it’s cracked up to be.

I’ve heard that at first, it’s just tiring…..

and then you learn to roll with it.

After a while… well… hubba hubba.

Just tread carefully…….. and don’t do anything too radial.

He thought he’d become the Michelin Man, but it turns out it’s not a goodyear.

His inflated ego ultimately left him flat.

Looks rather tiresome.

His life has been a series of recaps and retreads.

This time of life is when the rubber really hit the road !

Where on earth do these Ballard Street denizens even come up with these ideas!!

I was a tire repair guy back in the distant past. Started when I was 16 doing summer job. My dad did it before me. My mom hated that tire smell. Smells like burnt hair she would say.I however am a closet tire sniffer…..yes dear friends. I find the smell of fresh tire to be the most seductive scent on the planet. It does things to my…..forgive me. I digress.Ha ha….funny cartoon!!(SNIFF……ahhhhhh)

I love all the puns and jokes here; now would someone please explain to me the meaning of the cartoon? Is there an expression, “Living with Tires,” that I (not to mention Google) never heard of? What’s the joke?
