Looking at the size of that dust ball, Mom isn’t doing too good a job of cleaning when it’s her turn.

There was a strip where Calvin does a lousy job shoveling the sidewalk. His comment was something like, “Sometimes if you do a bad enough job, they don’t ask again.” I wonder if that was dad’s plan all along. If so, then we now know where Calvin gets it: Like father, like son.

Creating art from old objects. It’s called recycling. Efficient.

“Guy quality” chores around the house

That “dust ball” looks big enough to be a tumbleweed.

Break a few dishes and wear your outside shoes so you track mud in the kitchen while working, and you won’t be asked to wash dishes anymore, Dad. It also helps if you take an hour to do a ten-minute job, and leave no evidence that anything’s actually been accomplished.

Dad’s vacuuming skills “suck”

Why not take that vacuum cleaner for show-and-tell?

Where I work, if you do a bad enough job, you get promoted to management.

The person with the higher standard of cleanliness does the housework. I’m the only one in my family who can see dirt. I like cleaning so it works out fine.

We women tend to be a bit OCD when it comes to housework.
