Mark: Mrs. Davenport, I wonder if you could comment on the lavish parties thrown by Korean businessman Park for House Speaker Tip O'Neill. Lacey: Well, dear, I wouldn't make too much of that. You see, Tip's a very popular man, and people simply like to do things for him... for instance, some banking pals of his once offered him a free interest in a nursing home. Rather than offend his friends over a silly principle, he graciously accepted. Mark: Just let's people walk all over him, eh? Lacey: Quite right. He just doesn't seem to know how to say no!
