    HOLY MACKEREL! We got new comics! Guess invoking Dick Tracy’s writer did the trick! ;D

    Morning, Anniephans!

    .

    Actually, these aren’t new. This strip first appeared on April 8, 2001, and was reran back in 2012. Why GoComics cut us off in the middle of the Boris Sirob story and jumped us back to the beginning of their archives for a second time is a mystery to me.

    I wish that they had jumped us back to June of 2000 and reran the strips that were drawn by Andrew Pepoy. Or better yet, jumped all the way back to the 80s and 90s and ran the stories by Leonard Starr.

    But since this is the only game in town, I’ll hang with it.

    Back in 2010, when the strip was canceled, there was a rather large group of fans who called themselves “Anniephans” who met here and started rereading the archives together one day at a time. I provided the link and have kept it up ever since then, although our numbers have dwindled. If y’all want me continue providing that daily link, I will be glad to do so. We worked our way all the way up to January of 2008 and today’s link is given below.

    David, we appreciate your dedication and stewardship! Has it really been since 2010? I had only recently discovered the reboot a year or so prior to the end and was hooked. As for your daily posting of links since that day, they are always appreciated but leapin’ lizards what a burden on you! Should you decide to step back from the posting, your LAO/Annie halo would shine just as brightly.

    If you click on the << button above the strip, it takes you back to April 8, 2001, but is not the same as today’s strip. Clicking on RANDOM will get a different strip.

    @MARVEE

    That’s because this is not the strip for April 8, 2001. It’s the strip for April 15, 2001.

    Can anyone read the 15th and 16th? The print is too small.
