And instead of being fired from individual tubes, torpedoes will be shot out of multi-role containers, which are like huge revolvers that can hold a combination of torpedoes, cruise missiles, and supersonic or hypersonic anti-ship missiles.
Even without that knowledge, Dr. Dark knows he doesn’t want to get into a stand up fight or hit and run battle. Either one would deplete his resources. He must use his brain to think…think… to get a brain blast! Yes, the decoy. A small one he made that can make the sounds of a larger vessel and can be used while his ship waits till they are out of range then move on silent mode. His only chance. He has already adjusted course away from his island. Still no communication with them using his frequencies.
I hadn’t run across “supercavitating torpedoes” before. Great concept, except they’re very noisy and would give away your position when you fired one. So you don’t dare miss!
