“The Saga of Dr. Dark”(24) 11/4-5/2017

After wiping the minds, hard drives and the Navy ships from his island. (Sent hundreds of miles away) Dr. Dark is educating himself on what is in the world now in the year 2028 to see what he wants, what he needs and needs to watch out for since his cold sleep at the end of what they call “World War Two”. He has use for those “black static” buoys he hijacked from the well equipped US military. Grown considerably since 1945. That “black static” boarders on arcane physics. He will have many uses for that.

As he goes he sees that the polities of Europe and the rest of the world have changed over time. His brain can both read and process so much information than any person on the planet that is human. His mutation is lucky to be born once ever few millennia. He has had many names and he will have more in his long future. His ability to keep his cells from aging as normal humans do is only a stop gap. He has looked into whatever means to extend life including becoming a vampire or even switch bodies as some of the sorcerers to do it live on. They can even do it for a short time if their body is killed to make the essence switch of a body that had been tested before the final juxtaposition. He has that capacity, but he doesn’t want to lose what else his body gives him. Why he as studied so laboriously—-for him, in the area of “protoplasmic reversion”. This capacity is a rare ability and in most cases not studied and learning how to use it. with it he could remake his body eventually being able to copy anyone else and adjust his features, pigmentation, hair even size and weight. And most of all his life span.

“The Great God Pan”is a novella by Welsh writer Arthur Machen. A version of the story was published in the magazine The Whirlwind in 1890, and Machen revised and extended it for its book publication (together with another story, “The Inmost Light”) in 1894.
