Today the number of subscribers reached 10,500. Not a real earth shattering revelation, I know, but sort of a milestone in the history of the Annie universe. Before GoComics had its big reboot, the number of subscribers was up above 10,600. I don’t remember the exact number. I’m not that much of a fanatic. Then, after the reboot, the number dropped to about 10,200, a loss of 400 subscribers. Since then I’ve watched the number slowly creeping back up. It fluctuates each day, losing some and gaining some, but today it reached this milestone number. I think this is quite a good indicator that this great old strip is far from dead.
