“The Saga of Dr. Dark”(31) 1/20-21/2018

Preparations to leave simultaneously with so many other things to do. He can delegate only so much to his homonculi. Even so he works very fast and with minimal extraneous actions to complete his projects. He never forgets anything unless he wants to. (A trick of Sherlock Holmes he learns of when being Napoleon Moriarty in the 19th century), the later years along with meeting the mysterious being called “Jumping Jack Flash” or “Spring-heel Jack” or “High Jumper” among many other names in many countries over a century or more. He wonders where that hopping crazy is now.

Dark’s submarine is a huge Imperial Japanese cargo carrier. But with all its wonders it is still water locked unless he can make it up a river. Maybe better to fly there. He can get what he needs for himself and the resources of the ancient Vampire Nation can furnish the rest. From what Valka told him they need a defensive screen that will keep everyone but their own ships. They fear the United States and its imperial moving forces. Since the death of their POTUS and VPOTUS and most of the Congress, their actions are now less restrained and the Vampires want protection while they work on keeping the New United Nations at bay and on their side. So he will, he has a plan, he will just need materials and equipment he doesn’t yet have.

The worms crawl in…and the worms crawl out.

and the worms play pinochle on your snout!

    He was a good man.

    Devoted husband, loving father.

    Sob!

    Sniffle!

And now we commit him to our poor soil, in whose merciful bosom he will find slumber and…

    Yeee!

    Yeee!

    It is the ancient worm!

    We are doomed!

Get those people out of there! That creature is running amok!

    Tanks closing in, sir!

Hurt, viral systems shattered, the Death Worm From Planet X makes a final desperate lunge for some safe place on this inhospitable earth.

He’s going down again! Fire men, fire! Give him all you’ve got!

Actually, this would have made a better flick than Death Worms from Planet X
