COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS ACADEMY – Online (for the duration of the emergency) Review Lesson #5: Partners/Sidekicks (cont.) Good Morning! Speaking of sidekicks, you may recall that we mentioned the girl who is currently the focus of attention for our aspirant (and everyone else) is herself a Dean Emeritus of the Academy. The lady in today’s part of the lesson is a prime example of how to properly acquire a sidekick. The good captain willingly took on the role, as her affection for the girl has made her almost like a “big sister.” And she is demonstrating an excellent quality for the job – loyalty; if she could have, she herself would have been on the plane instead of her partner. As such, she is willing to get back in the air to resume the search for her with some “fresh eyes” (as it were) despite being tired from searching already. Of course, had she taken courses from our sister institute, L’Academie des Acolytes Comique (The Academy of Comic Sidekicks) in Paris, she might have learned not to let her affection for her charge get in the way of her analytical side. Otherwise, she might have reasoned, Hey – maybe she managed to crawl off somewhere for shelter, away from the lakefront; MAYBE WE SHOULD STAY ON THE GROUND AND LOOK FOR FOOTPRINTS!
