SAM’S SCHOOL FOR SUPERVILLAINS – Bayonne, Marsailles, WhitechapelLesson #2: Good Help is Hard to Find (cont.). Obviously, we have just a couple of flunkies in the chopper, unschooled in the finer points of villainy, such as maintaining the appearance of goodness. Of course, if the “brains of the operation” (whatever it is) has acquired this skill, then he/she can enhance this illusion by “rebuking” his subordinates (publicly, of course, while privately incentivizing them to continue their behavior) and helping the kid. Ideally, the smartest thing the lackeys can do is to take the kid at her word and bring her back to their base for the “brains” to meet her, tend to her needs and make inquiries as to just what she’s doing there… and whether or not her unforseen presence poses any kind of threat to his/her own machinations.

I just got into this strip and am loving it. But I sure wish it was in color. Well, I’ll read it anyway.
