A favorite song from a movie that has been banned because it’s about a man who remained positive and shared joy in spite of very unfair and difficult times.
(new thread because I don’t feel like fighting some intentionally, deliberately oblivious racist from five years ago)It stopped being shown because it glorified slavery. It also has a history of direct racism, such as that the star, James Baskett, wasn’t allowed in the theatre to see the premier. It’s vaulted because Disney eventually realized that they didn’t want the company associated with it.
