works for today’s C&C comments as well. You can change ballardstreet to another strip to see its comments for that 2007/01/28/ date, or change the date for another date’s comments, or drop the date altogether to see the current strip’s comments.
Like here, I only used bolding to emphasize what I was pointing to.
With the old GoComics, http://www.gocomics.com, after logging in, would have your My Comics Page strips horizontally across the top of the page. If you went Pro (now GC Insider), they would be there vertically, and some users, like me, preferred the old horizontal view; so, I explained how to fix that in a
comment. Unfortunately, I used
instead of
for new lines, so the formatting is messed up now; but, the resulting URL had the user’s My Comics Page number embedded in it. From time to time, I would see users point to that type URL, which only worked for that particular user, in comments (why I was surprised to see that yours worked).
Now, http://www.gocomics.com, after logging in, and clicking a strip, shows all your My Comics Page strips lined up horizontally by default, even if there is no new strip that day (sort of an issue with me); but, I haven’t figured out how to add the comments=visible#comments to the URL by default. If someone knows how to do that, please post it.

Horace was not overjoyed about breakfast either. No raisins for his oatmeal has made him forget that Sparky also likes his morning meal just so.

What?? No warm bacon grease on my kibbles?? What’s this family coming to?

Nothing but dry kibble? Go ahead, Sparky!

Tell you what, Sparky. If it’s revenge you want, pass breakfast in the house instead of outside.

Mabrndt from yesterday… yes, I knew that number was from my own comics page….
I. too, was surprised when the link worked for other people,
but I’d had somebody else test it, to make sure, before I posted it.
I wanted to use it because it opens with the comments already displayed….
and didn’t bother to remove the number, because the security aspect seemed minor.
AFAIK it only identifies my comics queue,
and anyone clicking my avatar can see the same list displayed on my profile.
It takes a password to change it, or get into my account.
Are you aware of a concern I might be missing?
Hope not, cos you bolded it in your reply to me!

Actually, you don’t need the ct=v& either.
