Dick: Where do you think we ought to go for our annual birding outing this year, Thad? Man: I'd say the Matagorda island wildlife refuge. Before it's too late. Dick: Before it's too late? Man: Secretary Watt is trying to give the refuge back to the state of Texas for development. In a few years, it should look like Coney Island. Dick: What? Watt can't do that! That refuge is home for many endangered species, including the Brown Pelicano, the Southern Bald Eagle and the Whooping Crane! Man: I know, I know... Dick: Does the President know about this? Man: Afraid so. He's given them until September to get out.
