Zonker: "Local quarterback loses in bid to win Heisman Trophy. 'He never had a prayer,' said teammates." B.D: Kirby, that was the worst pattern I ever saw in my life! One more foul-up like that, and you'll be... Zonker: Now, now, B.D, just because you didn't win the Heisman Trophy, you don't have to take it out on Kirby! B.D: Harris, that has absolutely nothing to do with... Man: So that's what's eating him! Zonker: You'll get it next year, B.D - you just gotta know what qualities they're looking for in a candidate! B.D: And you know, do you, Harris? Zonker: Sure! I listen to sports commentators all the time. The first thing you've got to be is "some kinda football player." B.D: What kind of football player? Zonker: Some kinda. Also, Heisman Trophy winners have to have character, and they have to give 110%. B.D: I see. Anything else? Zonker: Yes, the most important quality of all! Every Saturday, those sportswriters will be looking to see if you've "come to play football." B.D: As opposed to what? Man: Soccer, hockey, tennis... Zonker: Especially tennis. They've never given it to anyone who came to play tennis.
