We did back in the ’70’s. No one died from embarrassment. I understand many schools have turned their showers into storage closets and the kids just cake on deodorant after gym before their next class. Not sure what brought on this change.

Did in the ’50s, too. However, now we know this is an elementary school, and have to wonder about their sports teams at this level.
