Amazing, but don’t get it wet.

A few days ago, I said Calvin could be a biologist. I might have just changed my mind, he should become an inventor.

As a kid, I always wondered what would happen if you turned into something too large for the box to contain…

It’s even more amazing that a kid Calvin’s age both knows the word and can correctly spell “transmogrifier.” (OTOH, the spell-check doesn’t seem to know the word…) A true genius.

I’ll bet the other side says “Made In China”

This is an older model, newer ones all have push buttons.

There are times where it helps to be crazy.

Yes, Hobbes, but, no more amazing than what they can do with stuffed animals.

Great example what a child’s imagination can come up with if allowed.

This strip is one of the most important for Calvin and Hobbes.

Why would Hobbes want to be anything else? He’s already a tiger!

If only that kind of thing was real, I would ditch my computer and Smartphone if it was!

Ah, the Transmogrifier. It’s here that Calvin and Hobbes goes in a fun and wonderful direction. It’s worth noting that the Transmogrifier arc comes after the dying raccoon arc and the destroyed forest arc. Perhaps Bill Watterson realized that after two depressing (but necessary) storylines in a row, something more upbeat was needed.
