I remember that moment with my daughter. Because my wife was too afraid of falling off the delivery table, I was the first one of the family to hold her. My mother-in-law would have been first, but when the doctor had turned around toe pass my daughter too her, she was nowhere around. She was better than half way to the waiting room to brag on her first grandchild.
