When I was in a National Park in Alaska I was warned by a ranger about carrying a cup of coffee along a trail because there was a bear ahead. Seems a lot of people would empty the dregs of their cups in the parking lots, the bears would lick it up, and they had gotten hooked on the caffeine. So now, if they smell coffee, they come looking for it.
