There is a good reason that parents tell the kids to put the tooth under their pillow for the Tooth Fairy.

As for poor Michael, apparently no one in his family cares if he is hurt.

This is a problem with making things up. Why is Santa hampered by costs (no new car) or reality (no magic wings that make me really fly)? Why can’t the tooth fairy find the tooth that fell on the floor and under stuff? We are almost done with all that with the youngest and I will not miss it at ALL.

The ‘Tooth Fairy,’ just another in a long line of ‘imaginary friends’ created in an attempt to control the behavior of children(Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, The Great Pumpkin, etc…….)..

We had our kids place the tooth in one of my handkerchiefs which they place under their pillow. I then used an identical handkerchief for a quick swap. It reduces search time and potential rousing of a sleeping child.
