Rev. Sloan: J.J. looks great, Mike, simply great! Mike: What? Oh... yeah, I guess she does... Rev. Sloan: So how's the marriage going now, Mike? Mike: The marriage? Let's see... how would I describe the marriage? Rev. Sloan: A little rocky, perhaps? Mike: No, no, joyless. Dead. Rev. Sloan: Well, the important thing is you're still hanging in there!

The Rev should take a refresher course in marriage counseling.

Joyless and dead, we’ve all been there, or maybe that’s just me.

Sounds exactly like the advice someone gave me about one of my marriages.
I " hung in there " for almost 20 years. Finally, enough was enough !

Rick is correct. That is definitely the impotent thing

The strange milo yiannopoulos character has now lost his 15 minutes of fame as indicated on the Roland tweet below. It was going to be interesting to see the sideshow at CPAC. Milo isn’t American, so maybe he can sell it back home? It isn’t working so well over here. Free market and all that…

As I said last night, a Jewish cemetery in St. Louis, which is close to where I grew up, was heavily vandalized over the weekend. This has come at a time when many other Jewish centers are being targeted. Apparently, this took place due to some alt-right group or groups. Politics is everyone’s business. Maybe in the past, we had the luxury of being complacent, but that is no longer true.

Before anyone thinks they ought to defend milo, you should know that the latest concern about him has to do with advocating pedophilia.

I’m glad GT is including contemporary tweets on this page. Doonesbury has always been involved in politics. Doonesbury will continue to be relevant in today’s world. 2017 is not the time to bury one’s head in the sand. That is what they want in trump world. They are counting on it.

Okay, let’s vote. How many think Doonesbury should be turned over to today’s politics? How many think it’s a comic strip?

Some “Liberals” may like “circular firing squads”, I don’t. One must not be silent while others speak false hoods and incorrect information. That would be letting a wrong go free.

Karma will build a wall around trump and make him pay for it.

Actually, I look for GT to get back on track with today’s news fairly soon. It has been great for Stephen Colbert’s ratings. The Late Show is now must see TV again.

I remember the minister reading in my first marriage: “What God has put together, let no man put asunder”. It took me 18 years to realize God either never put us together or the almighty had a bizarre sense of humor.

Don’t be shy, Mike. This is a safe place. You can speak your mind here.

NIGHT-GAUNT49 replied to MONTESSORITEACHER: That “fifteen minutes of fame” was just given by Andy Warholand should be quoted when used since it isn’t really a normal time unit, more of a metaphoric one. Sunflowergirl100 how is free market political in your eyes?
.
Warhol’s photographer Nat Finkelstein has taken partial credit for the "15 minute comment. Others have given credit to the academic Marshall McLuhan of “Annie Hall” fame:
