Get in the car. My doctor appointment is still two hours away. Yeah, but I also have to drop off field trip money at Eddie's school, pick up dry cleaning, go by the post office, and by something to make for dinner. And you put all this stuff off til the day I'm sick!?

And in the end, the yield of the trip to the doctor will be, “Stay warm, drink plenty, rest, take Ibuprofen for pain, and call me if you cough up anything that looks like it came from under the fridge.”

Our old family doctor once said to my mom at one of those kind of visits “I can write you a prescription and he’ll be better in three or four days, or I can beat a drum, sacrifice a chicken, dance around and sprinkle magic dust on him and he’ll be better in half a week”.

I’m guessing Toby will collapse in the car park and he will have to be rushed to hospital.
If that happens the Field Trip Money, Dry Cleaning, Post Office and buying food will have to wait.
