So, this is kinda weird. An icon for Dubya (as well as earlier for Clinton), nothing at all for Obama, and now a semi-realistic portrayal of Trump. Sort of like the visual form of a mixed metaphor.

Thanks to Trump, Franklin Pierce will no longer be the worst POTUS ever. He’ll be the second worst and his great-great-great-great-grand nephew Dubya will only be third-worst.

You know, I usually picture Drumpf tweeting somewhere else, not the Oval Office. A much smaller room, fewer windows. Maybe a tile floor, and I don’t know, some kind of throne. It could be called the Offal Office.

I don’t know if there will be a symbol for trump. Cartoonists say they love to draw him. Plenty to work with.

The more serious aspect of trump is the fact he continues to have followers after his disastrous campaign and beginning in office.

The election of trump may be the worst disaster since 9-11 or the civil war. The further it goes, the more we see the impending doom. Of course, that is not just for Democrats, or even just those living in the United States.

I never thought I’d regard W in a positive way, but lately he’s been making the talk show rounds and is actually showing himself to be thoughtful and even articulate.

If any other celebrity in history (I mean ANY other celebrity!) was awake night after night at 4 in the morning tweeting imbecilities, lies, and insanities, we’d probably think there was something wrong with him. So why does Trump get a free pass?

He currently has an R after his name, and the rubes, unable to admit a mistake, are doubling down on it.

@soundstorm: In the first place, Obama is no longer in office. In the second place, unlike trump, Obama didn’t try to hide the fact that he would sometimes play golf. Trump is out there playing frequently but his staff is trying to deny it every chance they get since they complained about Obama playing golf. In recent history, most of the presidents did play golf. It is easier to list the ones who did not: Hoover, Truman and Carter.

Trudeau is helping me get through the President-Erect’s reign.

Trudeau will have plenty of material (in his eyes) to cartoon about. If he can hold up under the amount of it dumped on him.

In either case, Trump or Pence, the power in Washington rest squarely on the shoulders of the Republican Party and those that elected them.

The racist overtones in the GOP these days is astounding, and it is led by trump. Just saw where Steve king referred to whites marrying and having children with nonwhites is committing “ethnic suicide.” I was so thrilled to commit “ethnic suicide” with my wonderful husband who is Asian-American.
