Just what is the “American Way?” Could it be a mishmash of Canadian, Mexican, Central American and Latin American Ways? Is it “unamerican” to be Canadian?
This was always my favorite of all of Snoopy’s “dark and stormy night” strips. Snoopy was so proud of himself until Linus decided to put his two cents in!
The one thing I had to wonder is, how did Linus know what Snoopy had written? It’s still in the typewriter, and it’s up too high for Linus to see… unless he can read the captions over Snoopy’s head…
Someone ought to write an actual novel based on Snoopy’s basic outline. With a few hundred pages of elaboration, it could be a halfway decent novel, though a bit heavy on the melodramatic clichés.

Snoopy’s story is kind of like the Heroes of Olympus series (except that the chapter titles aren’t named after characters)
