This reminds me of one Thanksgiving when I was washing dishes. These were specifically Corelle glass dishes. Someone had put a serving bowl on top of a platter that still had turkey juices on it. I picked up the bowl without noticing the platter was adhered to it until the platter fell.Have you ever seen Corelle shatter? It’s impressive. At least my grandmother took it all in stride.

I have plastic dishes. Also I have a 3/4" mat on the floor by the sink.

I always hate it when the dish I dropped was just cleaned. Didn’t mind so much if it was dirty still. LOL
