Agnes is a dear naïve little girl, but Trout’s right. There’s no telling hoe long it’s been there. And half the town will tell you it’s theirs. Go for it, gal!

I once found $40 at a bus stop while on my walk. Trying to find out who it belonged to would have been asking the wrong question, so I spent it. Now it belongs to the store!

Coincidentally, I watched an episode of “Family Affair” on Hulu night before last. Buffy and Jody found a $20 bill and tried to find the owner. They wound up getting lost in the city as a result.

When I was a youngster, I found money around our house several times. Once a cache of coins in a crumbling part of the concrete next to some steps, and once a $20 bill in the alley. I theorized that, since our house was about two blocks down from a bar, people in a rather hazy state were leaking money as they stumbled away from that bar…

So, who ends up with the money on Saturday – Agnes’s grandma, or Trout’s mother?
