They let P-Phil out on Feb. 2nd, if I am not mistaken. 6 weeks takes us to March, 22nd, the first day of Spring. So wouldn’t there be 6 weeks with or without P-Phil? I fail to see the purpose of the stupid rodent, other than to give some Northeast residents something to wrap their half frozen brains around. Maybe they are doing it backwards, where they see the rodent, then say, “Man, only 6 more weeks of this, I can hardly wait.”

Punxsutawney Phil said 6 more weeks of winter. You’re mad at him for being right?

Remarkably relevant for me. We’re getting our first measurable snow since December. (last week temps were in the 60s)

No, you need to gut the idiot who first suggested that a groundhog was capable of predicting the weather. Poor Phil didn’t have any say in the matter.
