I bet even Francis would be appalled at Elliott’s behavior of not honoring his parents.

First things first:IMO, that’s not funny; it’s just downright nasty.

Tony asked, about 9 hours ago

    Who’s coming over?

Friends (hopefully a lot of them; it’s always difficult in March) for my husband’s birthday party this Saturday.

Time to buy the kid some Odor-Eaters… or even the generic ones from the dollar store….

    they work.

Not sure where you could buy him some manners.

Now…. I’m not totally blaming Elliot….. he lives in a family that thrives on bad behavior…

but…. sometimes, it seems to me, they say this stuff purely for comic effect.

I didn’t get a chance to remark on some comments yesterday about the unsympathetic relationship between Peggy and Peter…..

But I really think they enjoy each other’s sarcasm.

I know I tend to joke hard, and enjoy a type of insult humor, in both directions, that could sound nasty to people who don’t get it… and there are people I’m always aware I can’t play-fight with that way.

But when the chips are down I’m there… I got your back, and everybody who knows me also knows that…

I miss Beviek cos … as one or two of you might remember….. she and I used to rip each other to shreds here…

    but we’re friends.

I like to think Pete and Peg know that about each other, too.

And nobody’s coming over. Nobody at all.

    Must be something I said.

Peter should have replied “He planned to, but now he won’t!”

A little politeness goes a long way – avoiding adjectives like “smelly” in this case.

    Parents are mimicked after all!

    But it’s too late there.

To the best of my knowledge, nobody is coming over, but around here you never know.
