Andy: Come in! Mr. Lippincott: My god son...I hardly recognize you! Andy: That's not me, dad. Mr. Lippincott: Andy, I...uh...I told your grandmother about your pneumonia today... Andy: Pneumonia? Dad, I'm not in here because of pneumonia. Sure, I've got it, but only because my immune system has been knocked out by the AIDS virus. You've known about my AIDS for six months, but you're still so ashamed and full of denial that you've never acknowledged it, never even said the word once! Mr. Lippincott: Okay...okay...I'll say it... you have...AIDS...acquired immune deficiency syndrome... Andy: Atta boy, pop. Mr. Lippincott: ..Which you got from a mosquito.

Why is it so hard to admit someone has AIDS? It’s just a serious illness, like terminal cancer!
