I was so focused on how to actually figure out the answer to the problem (and I still haven’t), that it took me a couple of minutes to understand that Jason’s answer is deliberately wrong.
Schrodinger’s cat. You’ll never know the true answer until you work through the problem… Is Jason’s answer one of the right ones or 50% chance it’s wrong.
There is a Zero percent chance Mary Lou will get 60 percent of the questions correct. Her brother will answer 50 percent of them wrong, so she will get 50 percent of them correct.

100 percent’s pretty accurate, she’s in a comic strip.

100% chance of being correct on that test question because she has lived it.

Odds of a 60% or better would be about 37.7%, but now that Jason knows of the question it probably just fell to 0.

Probabilty?

it’s probably probable that a low probability will probably result from this highly improbable probability problem.

It depends on how much she pays him, and if she’s smart enough to hold off payment until she gets the results.

100 : 2 : 6 = 50 : 6 = 48, rest 2.

I’d say this is one of the deliberately wrong answers.
