I was so focused on how to actually figure out the answer to the problem (and I still haven’t), that it took me a couple of minutes to understand that Jason’s answer is deliberately wrong.

There is a Zero percent chance Mary Lou will get 60 percent of the questions correct. Her brother will answer 50 percent of them wrong, so she will get 50 percent of them correct.

It depends on how much she pays him, and if she’s smart enough to hold off payment until she gets the results.
