    And wars lead to increased numbers of refugees. Not just waves, but eventually tsunamis of refugees. Will they submit meekly to be turned away?

    Consider the idea that we have been using weather modification warfare for a long time on countries we don’t like. Is it a coincidence that some or our enemies are having record breaking droughts?

    But at least the DOD recognizes the existence of climate change and is willing to plan for it. Since Trump is planning on gutting the climate change work of all the other agencies, DOD may be the only agency that will have the wherewithal to monitor and forecast the magnitude of the change. Of course, that won’t help us DEALING with the change, but…

    @Mdavis4183 – then you are not paying attention. The ocean is acidifying, the Earth is warming, we have had record summer after record summer, we are getting more violent weather, some island areas are sinking, a chunk of the Arctic ice cap the size of Manhattan fell off, droughts are increasing…and that’s just off the top of my head. Look up National Geographic.
