GATURRO: I like the emoji in panel 3 (and I liked it the first time this strip appeared).
PHANTOM: Devil is happy to be home, and Guran will take good care of him while his broken leg heals. But P. with be without his trusted companion. What’s that on the grass in front of Devil’s left paw?
MARK TRAIL: @ david – good question. Was there a previous story arc with Waterworld, Inc., and Lesley Joyce?
MANDRAKE: Will M. and Narda disappear (like Bill and Esther did)?
Phantom Florchi, it looks like a small pouch with a flap, possibly used for medical supplies?
Rex Morgan Looks like Kelly now knows that Sarah can’t blackmail her about Niki being at the Morgan’s house while she was supposed to be babysitting.
Mary Worth They say that when you look down and to the left while speaking, you are lying. Or (as the Comics Curmudgeon says) she is once again defending her May-December marriage and her eyes are saying how tired she is of doing so. Of course, she doesn’t need to defend anything to Mary, so she’s just being weird.
Judge Parker -@David – I think the body is the younger woman who exchanged gunfire with the “mastermind” of this caper. They are now ignoring it and Sam is focusing on trying to call someone even though Ballinger said not to.
Rex Morgan – I thought the whole blackmail idea was put to rest. Rex and June weren’t that upset about a “visit” from Niki. They were more upset about Sarah demanding favors from Kelly and were going to teach Sarah a lesson, but don’t remember what that was.
Mark Trail – I think Leslie’s boat is one of the boats that Rex has destroyed. They may have to call for approval, and Leslie will know that Rex wouldn’t ordinarily do that .
Mary Worth – The look, to me, is wistful; Toby feels she missed out on something. Will she experience that “something” on this cruise?
GATURRO: This hasn’t happened before (no advancement of the strip). NIK creator Cristian Dzwonik is on Facebook, if anyone on FB wants to check his page.
MANDRAKE: The hulking sinister figure first appeared yesterday (panel 3).
PHANTOM: What’s up with Guran and where is he going???
Gaturro – I briefly saw the strip where the students were saying, “Do, Re, Mi…” but when I clicked on it it came back to this. Same thing happened with Nancy, i.e. clicking on it gave me a different strip. I tried to research NIK and read that there had recently been complaints of plagiarism with whole jokes being lifted from other cartoonists. I’ve always thought this cartoon was very original.
Judge Parker – Looks like Sam might be standing right over the trap door, covered by a rug. But where is the perp now?
Mandrake – I hadn’t noticed that yesterday.
Phantom – Guran might be working on some secret potion that will help them overcome the Durango warriors, or he is under some kind of spell himself. Wild guesses.
Mandrake – Looking back at yesterday, the figure in the last panel seems to be standing in the ruins and doesn’t look extra large. Today the figure is coming from behind and looks larger than Lothar.

¿Cesarán estas repeticiones?

Gaturro – Agree with Templo. Will these repetitions ever end?
Mark Trail – How is that supposed to alert the clerk that something is wrong?
Judge Parker – What about the dead girl? Who is she?
Mandrake – Who’s that lurking in the shadows?

BOOKS: @ TEH – Check out the 4/17 Funky Winkerbean strip (yesterday’s strip). Did you ever read Lee’s Go Set a Watchman?
