She’s got it backward, when parents say “uh-huh”, it means “stop talking, I’m watching TV.”
This was the first Maria’s Day I ever read. I immediately did two things: 1) Added it to my comics list, and 2) emailed it to my parents.
Though in my case, “Uh-huh” often meant “Stop talking, I’m reading a book.”
