Man: Mr. President, I should warn you, we're going to be hearing from your former war critics in the weeks ahead. A lot of them will say they predicted just this kind of outcome...George Bush: But they didn't! What they predicted was an outpouring of Arab anger against the U.S., Isreal and Jordan being dragged into the war, and a rise in Islamic radicalism! They didn't predict Saddam still in power, a bloody revolution, two million starving refugees, and thousands of U.S. troops posted indefinately in Iraq! Man: You're right, sir. They missed by a mile. Bush: It's not a told-you-so-type situation! Not at all!
