So funny – I first read this strip ages ago as a kid, in a paperback collection, and I didn’t QUITE get it then. I thought BC’s question “how?” was pretty legit considering there’s just 2 women and they don’t seem to get along particularly well with any of the guys. I figured that, in the last panel, Peter was just realizing that BC had a good point. It did not cross my mind that BC was literally asking how populations CAN increase…
