Joanie: Another poll... 60% of us think that? I don't understand this. Rick: What's that? Joanie: By a wide margin, voters say that a candidate shouldn't be disqualified because he's had an affair. But they also say he should be disqualified if he's caught lying. In other words, it's okay to be duplicitious - as long as you're honest about it! What kind of logic is that? I mean, what on earth do people think an affair is? It's implicitly a lie! You can't have it both ways. Rick: You mean, if I had an affair, I'm automatically a liar? Joanie: Well...yes. Why?
