Speaking of which…..

A couple of days ago here on Pooch Café, Poncho stole a kibble truck.

Dennis commented that Cleo, the basset hound star of “Cleo and Company” on Sherpa, had once done that too.

I looked for that Cleo strip to post here… but couldn’t find it…

 

So I asked nighthawks, the cartoonist, who often participates in his forum, to post it again so I could link to it here….

It all took a few days, and I know the subject has changed…

but it’s still interesting to see both dogs stealing kibble trucks, and their dismayed owners.

Meanwhile, I’m sure many of you know Cleo and Company, as the strip to which our good friend StelBel now adds her talents

She kinda stopped working on movie posters and “tampering” on Pooch Café, Citizen Dog, and Ballard Street, in order to do it.

She and nighthawks do Cleo animations together, and Stel does posters and other Cleo artwork two days a week,

Some of you commented there when we could still post on Sherpa strips…

 

Well, there are no comments on Sherpa now…

temporarily, according to GoComics…..

and some artists and fans have given up.

 

But I, and some of you, haven’t given up on Cleo and Company!

At the first sign of the changes happening, we set up an alternative comments forum.

You can’t bookmark a changing date….

but once you start going there, of course, you’ll find it more easily…..

You can just go forward from your last post, using the “next day” arrow…

or go to the new Ballard St and change only the 2017 up in the address bar to 2007.
