To mdavis: That fence (not wall) was not envisioned to be an unbroken stretch along our border. And it isn’t. It came at a heck of a cost though: Congress allocated $1.4 billion dollars for it but it was projected to cost $50 billion.
And Trump’s wall will not be built anywhere close to how Trump and his ilk have envisioned it. There are way too many complications, including the small matter of a major river that serves as a large part of our border; ranchers who would rather not give up their land for such a stupid project; terrain that would be ridiculous to try and build a wall on; etc. Not to mention the ginormous price tag. Even Trump’s own White House admits it’ll be nothing like he promised.
The long and short of it: Trump sold a bunch of suckers another bill of goods. And next he’ll be selling them a bridge to Brooklyn.
If I were in charge we would build friendships not fences. It Will be a life threatening move to species who have traveled across the river for centuries. Why can’t we all be nice?

Money is money and greed is greed – these things know no borders. Literally and figuratively.

Mexico is trying to make a law where local construction companies can bid for the wall. My thought is if you have lemons, make lemonade.

White and Black separatists have something in common, so they work together to get what they both want…separation of the “races”(sic).
