This reminds me of an old joke, “a skeptic and a priest are walking along a river bank. The skeptic says, ‘So you are telling me that if I pray hard enough I can get this river to flow uphill?’ The priest replies, ‘Yes, there is no limit to the power of prayer.’ The skeptic replies, ‘So, how hard would I have to pray?’ in a mocking tone. The priest calmly replies, ‘Hard enough to make it run uphill.’”
