As part of a household with family in many locations I am quite familiar with how this feels.
I’ve always liked dad’s common decency towards his Ex ; as for her….she’s a hostile divorcee.
I have to actually give her some credit here. She seems like she’s doing her level best not to belittle her ex or lay a guilt trip on the kid.
