It’s called Time, Calvin. He’ll shrivel up and get all wrinkled.

The blood suckers will leave two punctures. The size of the punctures tells you how large they are. The queen is huge and leaves two big ones that become scars. Good thing she only needs to feed every few months…sometimes you can hear them rubbing them together to keep them sharp and as a nervous tick. They are invisible to our sight, but they are quite solid. They are also more intelligent than our spiders. They come from another dimension. A different evolutionary biology and yet they can consume our blood.

I wouldn’t worry about monsters under the bed, Calvin. It’s probably just Mike and Sully.

Love Dad’s expression in the second to last panel. Looks like something out of a Tex Avery cartoon. XD Bill Watterson was a master of facial expressions.

The enticement in the first panel made me think of Pennywise the Dancing Clown in the film ‘It’.
