One word – Vicarious!

Thurber was right. The war between men and women is eternal.

He should know better than to say that.

The idle mind oft wanders into a bog.

Jimmy Johnson seems to know lots of ways for a man to put his foot in his mouth. I wonder how he learned them.

Looks like Arlo will be moving sooner than later – to the dog house!

He should’ve added, “Just like I am.”

He should just say, “Well there was a time when you had that great a body also.” Then watch the sparks fly…or at least enjoy the peace and quiet as she broods, thinking about diet and exercise…

It’s only momentary. Janis moves on long before the commenters do.

He’s agreeing with her! Sheesh!

Janis forgets not only she isn’t as young, but she had that body too. And still does enough for Arlo to act like you do. So why is Janice so contradictory here?

Do any couples really behave like this? My husband and I do not.

Janis should feel complemented. Most men marry girls just like their moms.

….Talk about creepy…

I don’t get the “VERY” in the last panel. Janis has no mouth, so it’s not coming from her. And it makes no sense for Arlo to say it. What am I missing?
