Mike: What? We can't even make payroll? Alex: Not if we pay off our suppliers on time...the problem is we didn't invest our cash reserves. Our projections included that interest. So two weeks of payroll came out of overhead...we'll be broke by close of business Friday. Of course, you'll want to check my final figures. Mike: I will? Why? Alex: Dad, I'm only nine!
